Winter White

Happy Monday! Who thinks you shouldn’t wear white after Labor Day? Ha! Well, those days are long gone. Today’s look is a fun, almost white, knit jacket I saw online a couple of weeks ago. While it’s not super warm, I love the sleek, tailored look and the gold tone buttons. The white just helps raise my spirits on what’s been very long spell of dark and gloomy days here recently! Casual Friday!

TGIF! Fast week over here! Feels good to wind down the week and I always love a little extra sleep over the next couple of days. Sleeping is one thing I’m REALLY good at. LOL! Casual, comfortable look for you today with a bit of edge to it. It took me a couple of times to get this Nike Sweatshirt right. I liked the white one better than the black and I sized up because I prefer a more baggy look in sweatshirts. This is a great running around outfit. I threw on my faux leather moto jacket. Talk about versatility!! This jacket goes with so much. They have it now in pale pink but it’s selling out fast. I’ll try to link it up if it’s still available. Fuzzy Wuzzy

Wowza…we’re already at Wednesday! Today’s look is so much fun! Snagged this vest for under 50 bucks! It’s soft and warm. It’s one size and it seems everything from this site runs on the small side. 🙁 I love it with this leopard crossbody bag. The grey goes with so much including one of my favorite pairs of booties this season. I really love ponchos and vests. What’s your favorite fashion go to when you are putting together outfits? Oversized Cardigan Love

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Can’t believe we are already in the last full week of January! Another day closer to Spring! Yea! Today’s look is just so comfy and cozy. I love this newly released Cardigan from Free People! FP can really do gorgeous oversized sweaters. I love this one so much, I just ordered it in the cream color as well and plan to do a post on that one as well. Look for that in the near future! It was in the high 50’s when we shot this Saturday. Caped Crusader

Happy Friday! This cape style coat is a BIG favorite of mine. I got it two years ago from The Limited. It was part of their Scandal Collection. I never watched the show but the Scandal line from The Limited had some really cute pieces! (Sadly, The Limited closed its doors this month after lagging sales. I had shopped there for a long time. Not so much recently. but it was a huge “go-to” store for me back in the day.) There are so many gorgeous cape coats on sale right now. I’ve linked a bunch of them above. The trench style one is to die for. It’s reduced and in my cart! I don’t wear this cape super frequently but I always love it and get compliments on it when I do. I was watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Dorit had a gorgeous white cape suit on. Did you catch that? That’s what reminded me to throw it on today. Poncho Find

Happy Hump Day! Week is flying by for me. Hope all is well. Today’s look is a find from TJ Maxx. Now is a GREAT time to score some really great pieces at TJ.!! If they have the yellow markdown sticker, you know it is an AMAZING deal. I don’t think I’ve ever met a poncho I didn’t like. I found this super stunning Ralph Lauren cable knit poncho while rummaging through the clearance racks. The msrp is 495.00. It was 179.99 at TJ and marked down to 89.00! SCORE! While it might be hard to find another one like this at your TJ, I recommend stopping in and going through the mark downs. There was a lot left.
