Happy Monday!  Feels so good that February is almost half gone!  February — in this part of the woods is usually so dark and yucky!  It’s been warm though with continued temps in th 50’s…I’ll take it.  What’s great about this weather is I am getting SO SO much use out of my favorite Winter Staple: The cardigan.  I just recently got this fluffy cardigan on sale and it is still in stock (at least at the moment) It’s very very soft and well….fluffy!  I love it.  Whether it’s in fashion or home decor, I love to mix different textures for an interesting look.   The faux leather T shirt I’m wearing beneath this cardigan is one of my favorites.  It’s a couple of years old but I linked a very similar one above.  I think the leather and the fluff compliment each other beautifully.  Hope you have a great week ahead and a wonderful Valentine’s Day!  See you Wednesday!

TGIF..Where did this week go!?  When I saw Beach and Poncho together..I knew I HAD to have this cozy, soft little number called the Cozychic Beach Poncho!  Holy Cow it’s like a big,  soft blanket and I have been LIVING in this!  I even wear it over my jammies when I’m watching tv at night!  It’s so comfortable and warm!  (I’m always freezing! )  One of my favorite aspects of this particular poncho is that it actually has sleeves!  It makes maneuvering in it so easy!  This is a piece that you can truly use year round…on freezing winter days or nights or even over your swimsuit like the name implies.  It’s a fun, versatile piece that doubles as my “blankie”!  Happy Friday friends!  Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!

Happy Wednesday.  This Ugg poncho is all THAT and one of my all time favorites!  I decided to get it in grey this season — I also have it in a beige colorway from last winter.  I loved it so much I wanted another.  It’s warm, it’s cozy and it’s unique.  There is a LOT of material to this piece and it’s much longer than most traditional ponchos.  Don’t let that scare you off.  It has a lot of oomph to it and really makes a statement.  Here’s to getting over the hump and heading to the weekend! TGIF!  February is on its way and Valentine’s Day is about a week and half away.  I found this adorable sweater a couple of weeks ago.  Every year, I try to get a cute sweater or sweatshirt with a heart theme.  We’re not real big into Valentine’s day (a Hallmark holiday) …but I like to decorate here and there and have something cute to wear around this time of year.  It’s also a good time to put the red Hunter boots to work.  It’s been real sloppy so they have been a life saver in addition to a nice fashion statement.
