Classic Pink Trench

Here we go starting the week off with a good amount of system snow here in Southwest Michigan. Can’t complain! We’ve barely had any at all this winter and it will be in the 40’s by the end of the week! We “sprung” forward this weekend so Spring is nearing quickly! Perfect time for this pretty pink trench from Ambercrombie. It’s a classic style and the material is very soft. Not all coats this style are comfortable and this one REALLY is. It has some very nice “give” in the material. It also comes in some other pretty colors as well so make sure to check it out. Hope everyone is having a great start to the week. CASUAL FRIDAY IN PINK SWEATS

Casual Friday is on friends! TFIG! Nothing better than throwing on your favorite pair of sweats..am I right? Go ahead..admit it! Lol! At the time of this writing these very soft and comfortable pink sweatpants are half off at Abercrombie. I snagged them on sale so don’t wait. Their sales seem to come and go so if you check at a later date and you see them full price — just wait and check the site again until they go on sale. I also got this really nice thermal top at the Shopbop sale. It’s very soft too but delicate too. I got my perforated baseball cap at TJ Maxx last Fall. I really adore it! CREAM KIMONO

Happy Hump Day! This week is buzzing by! Another week closer to Spring! Yay! Weather here in Michigan has been a total roller coaster. It’s been very mild..even warm and then super windy and biting cold! This Kimono from Free People is deeply reduced and really can be used year round. It’s a perfect piece to throw on if you are going out to eat during air conditioning months when it’s warmer outside and freezing in …and it’s even great now when you simply don’t need a big heavy coat. I think this is a totally versatile and eye catching piece well worth 20 bucks! So, I say go for it! Hope you are having a good week! See you on Friday!

A FUN TWIST ON THE CLASSIC TRENCH

Good Monday everyone! Talk about taking a classic trench coat up a notch or two! I just love how flirty and fun this flowing trench coat wears!! It was a lot of fun shooting this look. I felt a little “Marilyn Monroe” in it. LOL! The material is light and gorgeous — problem is that it wrinkles really bad and takes FOREVER to iron. There really is a LOT of fabric to this coat! I also have a pretty pink trench I want to show you soon. We haven’t shot it yet but it really pretty and is such a classic style! The season for trench coats is pretty short here in the Midwest.
