Perfect Summertime Cape Sleeve Blazer

Mid week and sharing my favorite cape sleeve jacket! It comes in three colors and it’s a super easy look to put together! Just throw it over a tank or a casual T and you are good to go! It’s really great for that kind of in between weather where it is a bit cool but you don’t want to wear a coat or sweater. You are not entirely covered up but it just adds that little extra layer of warmth. Also, how about this adorable neon straw clutch bag with tassels! I picked it up at Target for 16.99. I could not find it online so I linked a pom pom straw clutch that is equally colorful. I just got it a couple of weeks ago and I love it. Red, Check Print, Tie Front Top

Hi everyone! Monday already!!! Starting the week off with this fun and very casual, breezy look! Got a lot of nice comments when I posted this tie front, check top on Instagram last week! It is the perfect top. It is very light and soft and the tie front is just perfect when you’ve had too many tacos the night before! LOL! Ruffles and Stripes for Spring

TGIF! Today’s look is a great one to take you into the weekend! I love the off the shoulder look and it is EVERYWHERE! Problem is, I’m not so crazy about it on me all the time. I sometimes feel it can make me look like a linebacker. LOL. This top somewhat solves that problem. I really like the thin straps that give it a part could shoulder and part off the shoulder look! It’s currently on sale! the blue stripes go so nicely with denim. Speaking of..I love this brand denim! Nordstrom carries it and the link above will take you to a very similar pair to the one I’m wearing. You should check out other styles by STS while you are at it. Retro Inspired Maxi

Wednesday already peeps! When I posted this dress on Instagram last week, it seemed to be a big hit! The soft colors are just so pretty! I took advantage of the slight bit of blue in the pattern to coordinate with my earring and ring! My Banana Republic clutch also blended nicely! This maxi has a fluttery bell sleeve and the ruffled skirt makes it fun to twirl! LOL! It sold out fast last week and some sizes are coming back into stock. Check back as sizes do return many times! Busy week here. We are taking advantage of the amazing weather and getting our outdoors all ready for summer. It’s coming along nicely. Pool is open and a couple of gardens have been tweaked. Ruffles and Checks

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Mom’s day! My mom came out and we spent part of the day flower shopping with about a gazillion other people! Great pizza, strawberry shortcake and a relaxing day. What more could you ask for? Today’s look is such a nice, summery look. I shot this in Florida over our Spring break and forgot about it. It’s a goodie! Check and ruffles are SO big now! The black and white with white denim is always a big hit in my book! I love my espadrilles with white jeans. I’ve linked up a great designer dupe above. Dropwaist Dress with Eyelet Detail

Mother’s Day Weekend is here and the weather is just perfect. It’s a sweet treat because this time of year, we never know what to expect weatherwise. Today’s look is the sweetest, delicate dress around! Unfortunately, it’s sold out. But, good news. Anthropologie has 20 percent off sitewide this weekend and above, I have shared some of my favorite dresses similar to this one. It’s hard to go wrong with a dress from Antrhopoligie. (I’m a big fan! And no, this post is not sponsored) When we shot this look last week it was SO cold. Here is what I love about this dress. The color for one! So pretty and feminine! I also love a dress that has a dropwaist. And, the eyelet detail is superb! I’ve been sooo busy planting flowers around the house! It’s one of my favorite things to do but it really can become a daunting task after a while! Some of you asked for a post on how I do my flowers and I’ll be working on that for you.
