Gingham Illusion Top

Weekend is almost here! I swear it always feel like the busiest time of year with graduation parties, weddings….AND On Sunday my boy, Will turns 12! Where is time going? We are headed to Chicago for the weekend! The weather is supposed to be beautiful so it should be a really fun time! Last year we had REALLY bad storms that caused us to cancel his b-day trip to Florida and I kind of felt like he missed out. As you know by now if you’ve been reading here long enough I really love my Anthro! This top is so adorable! It’s a cross between a shirt and a poncho. The opposing stripes in the poncho part create a gingham effect! Very cool. Anthro is having a great tag sale this weekend! Blinded By Rainbows Crochet Vest

Happy Hump Day already! If you love bright colors and fun clothing, this post is for you! I was browsing the Nastygal website buying a few things and stumbled upon this rainbow crochet vest and decided to take a chance on it. Not usually my style, but I think it’s good to get out of your fashion comfort zone once in a while and have a little fun! This vest certainly does that. Sunlit Floral Maxi Dress

Fringe Shift Dress and Oversized Denim Jacket

Happy Weekend! On occasion, I’ll move a Friday post to Saturday! I had a busy week with a childhood friend and her son in town and we were just too busy doing summer, including picking strawberries (so fun!) that I didn’t have much time for anything else. Summers go by so fast I try to jam in all I can! Today’s dress is on major sale at Anthropologie! It’s under 50. and I adore the fringe detail! Can’t go wrong with a white shift dress for summer..that is for sure! What do you think of the WAY oversized denim jacket? The distressed denim with the pearl details is adorable. Say Yes To This Dress!

Happy Wednesday Everyone! We’re plugging along here getting through a steamy week around the Midwest! I have decided I don’t like HOT weather. LOL! Luckily, we shot this look before it got REALLY hot! While putting together this post, I was giggling to myself because this dress is a LOT! “A lot” in terms of a LOT of material. While it’s not a really heavy material, it IS heavy simply because there is so much fabric. It reminded me of an old neighbor and friend who used to love to get into her mumus after work. She always teased how she could find the best ones at Kmart! Comfy..they were — but not really good on looks. lol! We still tease her about her mumus till this day! This dress is simply a glorified and let’s say, prettier mumu! It’s super soft and flowing and I really love the contrasting color! It comes in 2 sizes and runs very large! Being heavy on material, I think it looks best with a higher, casual shoe and these wedges are perfect! I love them and they are on sale but also linked a much more budget friendly Nine West pair that should be arriving at more door soon. I spotted them on another blogger and loved them on her! Embroidered Cold Shoulder Top and Denim Skirt

Wow! That was a FAST weekend wasn’t it!? Weather was gorgeous here. It’s heating up and this cold shoulder top is the perfect warm weather piece! I love the color combo and the embroidered detailing on the arm perfect! I am typically not a big skirt person and I haven’t bought a denim skirt in AGES! I took a chance on this one and I LOVE LOVE it! It’s a comfortable, flattering fit and what I love most is the fringe hem. It’s soft and distressed and really just perfect. I would totally recommend it! I bought quite a few things from Nasty Gal and got 40 percent off. At the time of this writing, the site is still offering 40 percent off full priced items!
