Throwback Casual Style

This look has a little bit of everything I love: cozy sweatshirts, Coca-cola (diet), and my Saint Bernard, Sasha! But…not necessarily in that order. LOL! This time of year, it seems like the warm temps take forever to get here. So… simple cardigans, lighter weight sweaters and sweatshirts are my go to “uniform” until it finally warms up. Truthfully, I would always take weather in the 60-70’s! How about you? Wildfox has some of the CUTEST sweatshirts! They are on the pricey side for sure, but they are VERY nice quality. Spring Sweater and an Amazing Tote

Start of a fresh new week! Weather is STILL quite chilly here and this Free People V-neck is getting a lot of play lately! It’s such a pretty top and is so versatile. This white one is perfect for cooler Spring and Summer days! It also comes in a lot of really pretty colors. At the time of publishing, Macy’s also has the best price on it. For reference, I’m wearing a medium because I like a looser fit and also prefer the medium for the length. I’m noticing this season, many tops are creeping higher and higher. I say “no thanks” to the crop tops! LOL! I posted this pom pom bag on Instagram and everyone just loves it. I bought it recently at a Shopbop sale. It sold out fast and so far has not been restocked. If you want to check back to their site, it’s called the pom pom tote by Mystique and it really is all that a bag of chips! Unique and colorful to say the least. Getting The Cold Shoulder

Happy Friday fashionistas! It’s been a long, rainy, and gloomy week here! A far cry from the gorgeous weather we had last week when we shot this look at my alma mater, The University of Notre Dame. Sure, I’m a bit biased, but it really is simply one of the most breathtaking campuses in the nation and I feel lucky to live just minutes away. The tulips were in full BLOOM and had we waited any longer, we would have missed them. They were about done! Too bad the season is so short! This top is soo cute and comfy. Major drawback however, it wrinkles very easily! A friend just recently texted a pic of herself trying on a cold shoulder top. There are so many styles out there this season. She wasn’t completely sold. If you’ve ever tried one and didn’t like it, my suggestion is to try a few styles. What I really like about this one is the poofy statement sleeves. Pretty Embroidered Tunic Dress

This week feels like it’s flying by! The weather is simply awful! It’s been RAINY, cold and windy! I’m making my way through closet cleaning! Perfect time for that most dreaded job! I despise it…but it MUST be done! Next week I hope the weather gets warmer so we can start buying and planting our flowers. It’s one of my favorite things to do! Today’s look is an ever popular dress from Anthropologie this season. I think Anthro carries the most beautiful selection of dresses. They are so unique and simply gorgeous. This one is called the LIBRA embroidered dress. Funny, because I’m a Libra. While I don’t really do astrology or even read my horoscope, I do believe I possess every Libra trait there is. We are terribly indecisive (check), love pretty things (check) and we are terribly indecisive (check) that one needs repeating lol! I drive my husband crazy picking out even lampshades. lol! Welcome to a new week! I’ve got a lot to accomplish..as always! I got a lot of interest on this outfit when I posted it on Instagram this week! It’s such an easy, breezy look. So casual but cute! I really love the pieces from Chicwish where I got this top. They are priced affordably and are really cute! I’m also loving straw bags this season! This one is quite large and holds a lot! I think it really makes a nice statement! It also comes in red tassels and a natural one I really like too! I’m just loving these shoots where Spring is Popping! Happy Fri-yay!! YAy is an understatement! Spring is SUCH a busy time! Hubs and I work hard getting a massive yard in order. We’ve both been doing our part power washing everything in site! LOL! The weather had been gorgeous and just perfect! Still have to get our porches and patios set up with furniture and cushions. We ordered some pretty outdoor couches and chairs from World Market and Bill put that all together. Only problem, we underestimated how massive our patio is! We think we need to order another entire set to fill the space and make it look good! We had a great sound system installed out there today…so the only thing missing is the margarita cart! Ha! I plan on doing more Instagram Stories. I’ll show you how are hard work is coming along.

One thing you don’t know about me, is I LOVE gardening. Flowers are just like shoes to me. I don’t know when to stop! SERIOUSLY! I even drive myself crazy! Anyway…love t
