Hard to believe the holidays are officially in full swing with Thanksgiving already tomorrow! Holy Cow! It creeps up so quickly every year! I think Fall is probably my favorite time of year with Spring a close second. I love the crisp air and the colors that accompany Autumn. We shot this look a few weeks ago and this has been one of my very favorite budget friendly looks! I love this colorblock fringed ruana — I paid under $20 for it! Aren’t the colors amazing? It also comes in a pretty natural and black colorway as well! I love that is has pockets and the lighter weight of the fabric makes it drape beautifully! I also picked up my wool hat to go with it! Hats like these can come in a big price range — you can’t beat this floppy one for the money! My favorite over the knee boots from last year are still available. You can find almost the exact same pair here and on sale too! They sold out during the holidays last year, so if you’re thinking about it, get them now! Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love, peace, and gratitude. Bracelets here. Sunglasses are BP. and are sold out — these are beauties! Monogram necklace here.
Cold Weather Cardigan
I love Angel of the North sweaters. Last year I bought a long faux fur collar vest by Angel of the North and loved it. So, when I saw this one — similar in many ways — and cardigan style, I knew I had to have it. The colors are so pretty and an added bonus is that you can remove the fur collar for a different look if you so desire. We shot this look at the height of the color right before Halloween on an isolated road near our old house. A couple of days later, I read in the paper that folklore has it, this road is haunted. You can rest assured we saw no ghosts that day. However if we did, I’d just give ’em a swift kick with my suede pointy boots. Lol. These boots go with so much and are currently on sale. I also LOVE these, these and these. All of them are great markdowns! Hard to see, but I’m wearing these black, stretch, high-waisted jeans. They are a must have in your closet! They have no pockets in the front so it’s a nice, smooth look under more bulky winter sweaters etc. Now that the temperatures have dipped, this is a great pick for colder Fall days. Have a happy Monday! (Sunglasses-Karen Walker – Similar here. Necklaces-Gorjana – old. LOVE this one! Ring-similar here.)
Final Fall Fling…
FRI-YAY! Who’s with me? The weather this Fall has been unseasonably beautiful. By now we’ve had cold, windy, rainy days. This November, there have been sun balls in the forecast every day with warm temperatures! I’m chomping at the bit to get out my chunky sweaters and boots and that time is coming soon enough — like this weekend! It’s supposed to get COLD! * This pullover poncho is super soft and lightweight and is 25 percent of today with promo code: layers! I highly recommend this one. Hurry, there are not many left in stock! * Yep, another Clare V. bag. I’ve had this leopard clutch for a couple of years and get tons of use from it. It’s been around a while and is still a fan favorite that often sells out! Makes a great Christmas gift too. * I’m also squeezing in one last day of sandal weather! Bought my sandals in the summer but similar here and here. * These earrings go with everything and my wood bead bracelets were a gift from a world traveler and dear friend of mine. She brought these back from one of her recent trips to Cambodia! I love unique trinkets that tell an interesting story!! We are off to a weekend in Chicago. What are your plans? Hope you have a great weekend!
Red, White, Blue and Suede too…
Happy Hump Day! I’m a Hunter Boot addict. I have them in red, orange, turquoise, pink and now navy! I love this pair in the shorter, wedge style! It’s been such a beautiful Fall across the Midwest, I haven’t had a lot of opportunity to put the “rain boot” to work for me…but that is ok with me! This Dolman sleeve cowlneck is soft and comfy. I recently added this Navy Suede bag to my collection. I love Clare V. bags and this one is no exception! The red glossy wide stripe and the cream matte stripe make this bag! I also have this one! It’s one of my all time favorite bags!! It sells out fast! You need this bag! Stretch bracelets from Baroni Designs. Similar here. A fun, casual outfit on a pretty Wednesday afternoon! Thanks for stopping over — see you Friday!
Wood Grain Lace up pumps
Happy Monday! Short post today as I’m under a pile of Christmas ribbon and ornaments! You might think it’s too early to decorate, but last year I made a mental note to start a week before Thanksgiving. Next week gets so busy and after that, time flies and Christmas is here! Plus, my son’s birthday is December 2nd so I am also throwing birthday parties then! I feel good that I am ahead of the game — at least for now:)! I love these Free People heels in taupe! They are amazing! The lace up detail makes them unique and take a look at those wood grain cylindrical heels! They also come in a pretty rust color! They go great dressed down with jeans or with a skirt or dress. This chiffon top is so pretty and delicate with attention to detail in the embroidered design is Fall tones. My glasses are Celine dupes and are currently sold out. I will let you know when they are restocked. LOVE them!! Only 12 bucks!! This pair is in my shopping cart made by the same brand! Hope you have a great start to your week. Talk again soon!
Stripes and Suede
TGIF!! Who’s ready for this week to end? It’s been a LONG one! Today’s look pairs a fun funnel neck stripe sweater with high-waisted black denim. These jeans are super comfy and despite having stretch to them, they don’t actually stretch out like so many denim styles of this type do. I highly recommend them! They can go great with a tall boot like these or as shown with a pair of booties. I LOVE these Kendall + Kylie gray booties. Despite the pointy toe, they have a super comfortable fit.. This rib knit sweater could be a tad longer but is cut generously. I love black and white stripes– they go with everything! I like how this color block tote (old, from Anthro, similar here) takes this look to an eye popping level. Happy Friday! Have a good weekend!
