TGIF.  Hope you all had a good week.  I’ve been busy shooting new looks and doing my homework for my new website I hope to debut by the end of the year.  I hired a new web designer at the beginning of summer and have been on a long wait list.  I’m so excited to get going with a new site and back to posting regularly.  So, I love the colors in this pretty wrap dress from Target!  I was at the store and took a gander in the Who, What, Wear section recently and found it!  I really like this line from Target.  I get tons of compliments from the black and white outfit from the same line I posted here.   They only had this dress in store in a medium.  I think it’s a bit big on when looking at the pictures.  I could have sized down for a less baggy fit.  Anyway,  a lot of times when I’m not sure about something, I visualize what I can coordinate the piece with…in this case, the toffee color mixed with the blue and white stripes jumped out at me and I thought my Vince Camuto over the knee boots would make for a perfect Fall look.  When I do shoots, I often change on location and we shoot more than one look.  When I was getting this dress out, Bill told me he cringed at first not sure what to expect when I put it on.!  LOL!  He said once on, he really thought it looked good.  So, when you are out shopping give fashion a chance.  Once you get try it on with the right accessories you might surprise yourself.  Do you tend to shy away from prints?  I say give them a shot!  Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by as always!

While in Paris I was able to shoot into H & M while we were out and about one afternoon!  That might not seem like a big deal to you if you have a store near you but we don’t.  I have always wanted to go into one.  What fun!  They had sooo many adorable sweaters like the one I have on in this shoot!  The price points are amazing.  The only problem was I had a husband and two boys in tow!  What that means is me flying through the store in about 30 minutes.  I got about 3 adorable sweaters ranging from about 20 bucks to 40!  I’ve linked a few of my favorites above!  Thanks for stopping by

We’re experiencing a heat spell here!  UGH!  I’m tired of the warm weather.  So ready for crisp autumn days!  I LOVE not running the AC and having the nights nice and cool for sleeping! Ahh!  How about you?  Today, I’ve put together some of my favorite casual long sleeve, fall style tops!  Each season, Free people comes out with the best thermal tops.  This one is awesome with a layered look!  Above, I have linked a few of my other favorite casual tops for Fall.  Again, these jeans I’m wearing are sooo comfy!  They’re worth the investment!  I’m still struggling to get back on track since our trip to Europe.  I finally slept a solid 9 hours last night. TGIF!!  Can I hear an Amen!?  Just got back from our trip to Paris.  Wednesday was a 24 hour travel day as our flight to Detroit out of Paris was canceled last minute (like 30 minutes before boarding, last minute!!!).  It sent us scrambling to find another flight with some seats left.  We ended up going to JFK and from there it was a total boondoggle!  More on that in my all about Paris post coming up.  Meantime, wanted to shared this Free People flutter sleeve top with you as we head into the weekend!  Remember the baseball T’s? This is a great take on classic shirt with a fun, feminine twist! Today’s look by Target!  Who’d think right?  Actually, Target has some super cute lines!.  The line Who, What, Wear is one of my favorites!  This Sweater has  beautiful features including voluminous sleeves! (It would also look great with a pair of destroyed black denim!)  The knit is soft and comfy…and the pants?  OMGEEE!  How adorable is the frilled hem on these?  Makes me want to dance the Salsa!  LOL! They have a side zip.  They’re lightweight and have a nice, flattering fit.  I’m wearing a medium in the sweater and size 6 in the pants for reference.  As we are already midweek i’m super concerned about  hurricane Irma heading for the U.S. this weekend.   We have a place near Naples.  I hope our friends and  everyone in its path takes precautions and stays safe.  Talk about a one – two punch.  Not sure how much more devastation we can take in 2 week’s time!  Meantime, we are going to try to hop a flight this weekend to Paris to celebrate my birthday which is not until next month…but September is about the slowest month (if you can call it that) in the airlines.  If you haven’t gathered from previous posts, my husband is a Delta pilot so we fly standby.  Fingers crossed we can get there (and back) and show the boys Paris for a few days.  They can’t be out of school too long so it will be a very quick sightseeing trip.  If you have any tips for travel to Pairs, please comment below.  I might be MIA for about a week. Labor Day weekend is upon us!  The unofficial end of SUMMA! I’m excited to usher in a new season!  How about you?  Cooler temps and all that spectacular color is right around the corner!  I have been having MAJOR computer/site issues plus my photog hubs has been flying the friendly skies for 9 freaking days straight!  I can never fix the dang computer issues without him.  This was even a doozy for him! Sigh!  Well, it’s better for now.  For now are the key words.  Anyway, I picked this Free people tunic up during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.  It’s been popping back into stock every day.  It’s now 40 percent off!  I’m wearing a small for reference.  It’s super soft and I LOVE the peach and navy together don’t you?  Also…if you’re like me,  finding the perfect fit pair of jeans is never easy!  Let me tell you, these Rag and Bone jeans are AWESOME.  They are incredibly comfortable.  The price point is steep but if you’re going to love them and get tons of wear out of them they are WORTH it in my opinion!  Go ahead and give them a try if you’re looking for a nice, dark denim that feel like sweats on! No joke!  Anyway, hope you have a fun holiday!  My boys are in a tennis tournament so that always stresses me out a bit!
