Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week- Vol. 132

1. Chico’s Reversible Ruana

I know you might be thinking another poncho or ruana? Chico’s gifted me this lovely wrap last week for the holidays and I’m in Love. It’s reversible (houndstooth to plaid), it’s on major sale and there’s nothing better than getting two looks for the price of one!  One size fits all so makes an easy gift to give too!  Also, check out Chico’s sister store, Soma tomorrow (Saturday) for 40% off your entire purchase.

2. Sock Booties

The boots I’m wearing are oldies but goodies.  They are just simple sock booties and I found some on sale here, and here.  I get so much use out of mine!

3. Fenty Body Sauce

Saw somebody recommending this luminizing Fenty body sauce tint and took a chance on it!  I put in on one leg and compared!  It is so good!  It gives your skin a nice little tan and shimmer!  Perfect for the arms and legs while wearing a dress! I love how instant and easy it is.

4. Gordon Food Services Cookies

These cutout cookies are so easy if you’re not in the mood for the “from scratch” kind.  They are inexpensive and all you have to do is bake and decorate.   Here is a good post on an easy, but great icing!

5. Amorepacific Enzyme Peel Cleansing Powder

I got this cleansing powder as a sample in my recent Sephora order.  Oh my, it’s great!  I thought it seemed odd at first being a powder, but I just sprinkled a bit onto my Olay cleansing brush and washed my face!  My skin felt so clean and smooth after using this.

6. Foot Massager

Another great gift idea.  We keep this foot massager under our desk and I always have my feet in it when writing blog posts – lol!

7. Cranberry & Jalapeno Chicken Meatballs

We took a chance on these meatballs at Costco this week and ate them for dinner 2 nights in a row!  They have a real unique flavor and we really enjoyed them!   (We had them over spaghetti squash) If you don’t have a Costco membership, I highly recommend!

8. TjMaxx Finds

I bought these runners and they are stunning.  I’m replacing my old runners in the kitchen.  You can see the big rectangle version of it in this blogger’s living room.  Also, these blingy pumps are so pretty and perfect for New Year’s Eve.  Compare here where they are double the cost!  Also, loving these slip on shoes for around the house.  If you have wood floors, try to wear a good shoe in the house to save your feet from major issues.  I always buy shoes just for indoor wearing.

9. Camel Long Shirt Jacket

Check out this long camel shirt coat!  Love the pocket, texture and color!  I’m also getting these Chelsea boots…under $60 and gets great reviews!

10.  Auto Cane Handle

My dad was struggling to get out of the car.  He would try to grab the passenger door handle for support.  I bought him this auto cane and WOW, it’s awesome!  It’s really does work as a great handle for pushing yourself from your vehicle.  Would also be handy for someone who has had recent surgery or has difficulty moving in and out of the car.

Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week- Vol. 131

1. Anthro Poncho

This is such a fun poncho and in a pinch, can double as a tree skirt! ;). The colors are fabulous and it also comes in a neutral version with black accents.

2. Notre Dame Bald Eagle Cam

If you’re a long time reader here, you’ll remember I shared the Notre Dame Bald Eagle Cam before.  I just read in the paper they installed a new camera.  This camera monitors the eagle’s nest live 24/7.  Make sure to notice you can scroll back 12 hours to see any activity.  It’s so fun to watch when the eggs hatch.  (springtime I think). The parents will bring an entire fish into the nest for the babies to feed.

3. Carbon Monoxide Plug In Detectors

The threat of carbon monoxide poisoning freaks me out.  Even though our home is equipped with wired monitors, I still like to plug these portable detectors into the bedroom outlets for piece of mind.  These are also good when traveling to an Airbnb or even an hotel room.

4. Yamazaki Storage Box

I saw a blogger storing her household cleaning supplies in this cut Yamazaki storage container.  I found it 30% off!

5. Bob’s Sweet Stripes

Bob’s sweet stripes give candy canes a run for their money!  These soft mints are addictive!  Throw them in to your holiday gift bags for fun!

6.  Michael Kors Tote

Ordering this oversized MK tote…I’m obsessed with the chunky chain detail.

7. Tineco Complete Cordless Floor Cleaner

I’m going to give this floor cleaner a whirl based on the excellent reviews.  It vacuums and wet mops at the same time AND it’s cordless!  Do you have one?

8. Pottery Barn Pet Throw

Did you know if you buy a sofa from Pottery Barn or West Elm,  you can also get throws made in the identical fabric as your sofa? We bought this sofa in Alabaster performance basketweave from West Elm  and now I’m getting these throws in the same fabric to protect it and hopefully keep it clean.  (I inherited the cover your furniture gene from my Polish great grandmother – but it does keep it looking good, longer 😉

9. Urban Decay Vice Hydrating Lipstick

Just picked up this UD lipstick and love it.  It goes on like butter and the color “local” is so pretty!

10. Rugby Striped Sweater

Love this striped sweater and the price is fabulous!   Also, I have this shoe in black and they are my favorite sneakers ever!  This color combo is to die for if your size is in stock, get it!  (I size up 1/2 in new balance)

1  Faux Fur Belted Capelet

This gorgeous fur collared belted wrap is a closet staple! Great price too!

2. Artificial Olive Tree

Faux Olive trees are super popular but it’s hard to a nice one that’s also tall!  This one gets great reviews.

3. Fairlife Protein Shakes

My friend recently got me hooked on these low carb protein shakes.  You can also find them at Sam’s and Costco but they seem to sell out fast!

4. Texturizing finisher spray

I saw one of my Instagram friends poofing her hair with this spray!  She’s a former hair stylist so I figured she knows her stuff!  Gets great reviews too! In my cart!

5. Loreal Metal Detox Spray

If you color your hair, you might want to invest in this spray!  I know it’s expensive but I’ve gotten amazing results and this bottle will last a lifetime.  I went to a salon who used it on me prior to my bleach highlights.  My natural color has gotten quite dark and it’s getting harder and harder to process to the bright blond I need it to be.  After spraying this on my hair prior to color, it processed in under 30 minutes which is rare for me.  On short hair, you spray 8-10 squirts on dry hair and just let it air dry prior to color.  The salon charged me 20 bucks for it!  So, though it is expensive, you will have paid for it in 5 treatments.  I bought it last week, sprayed it on prior to my color appointment at a new salon –  and my stylist was in awe how perfect my hair came up!  No toner or anything needed – the perfect blonde!

6. Nordstrom Black Friday Sales

Big sales underway already!  Love this pullover sweater, this cozy Barefoot dreams cardigan dropped under a $100, these Chelsea boots , these platform boots, and these earrings and this lariat necklace would be cute stocking stuffers!

7. Steel Locking Lid Birdseed Storage

I have struggled so much with chipmunks chewing through my hard plastic birdseed storage containers.  An instagram follower tipped me off to these steel locking cans.  They are perfect for storing seed and nothing will get in!

8. Bourbon Brie With Pecans

I probably shared this recipe before, but I must do so again with the holidays upon us.  This is the most amazing baked brie!  I can eat the entire thing myself!  Perfect for a fall gathering or Thanksgiving!  (I buy the jumbo President Bri wheel at Sam’s)

9. Tall Taper Candles

These are the best dripless tall taper candles!  Get them for your holiday table!

10. Dinner Napkins

These dinner napkins have a built in flatware pocket and are only 50 cents each and come in every color under the sun!

Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week- Vol. 128

1. Missoni Poncho x Tjmaxx

This Missoni poncho is not only fun, it’s at Tjmaxx and under $80!  (compared to $252!)  In another colorway here, and here.  Goes great with denim or black pants!

2. Healthy Crock Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup

This healthy chicken tortilla soup made in the crock pot is perfect for the halloween weekend when you’re busy tending to trick or treaters!

3. Arm & Hammer Scent Boosters

I love these in wash scent booster beads ( a few weeks ago I told you have this scent ) but haven’t tried the Arm & Hammer brand yet.  It gets great reviews and as a 4 pack, they are cheaper than even the sale price at the warehouse clubs.  (A little hack I like to do:  If your vacuum exhaust gets stinky from pet odors or in my case, I swept up a stink bug on accident – I just pour some scent beads on my throw rug and vacuum them up!)

4.  Free People Hooded Kimono/Cape

Dying over this hooded cape! So versatile and a nicely priced under $100!

5. Furniture Slides

We sold some heavy furniture so I watched some youtube videos recently with tips on moving furniture – one guy swears by these long slides because they have a pull handle on one end.  I have this style but these longer ones that enable you to pull, look quite handy!

6. Caraway Cookware Set

This Caraway cookware set is so sleek and gorgeous!  Better yet, the reviews are outstanding! If you own this set, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

7. Thymes All-Purpose Cleaner

If you love the scent of crisp forest as much as I do, get yourself some Thymes all-purpose cleaner.

This Crate and Barrel faux cypress garland is a favorite among home bloggers.  It sells out fast so don’t wait!

I just got this narrow folding table and am loving it!  I bought it so I can do make up videos (more on that soon).  I also discovered this table will also be super handy for entertaining and the holidays.  It’s the perfect table to set up a buffet as it’s long and narrow.  It’s lightweight yet, sturdy and well made!

Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week- Vol. 127

1. Migraine Roll On Relief

This product deserved the number one spot this week!  I suffer immensely from hormonal headaches.  I hate taking Excedrin and many times just power through.  I got this roll-on peppermint oil migraine relief and it helped me immensely with 2 headaches.  If you suffer from headaches, for 11 bucks, give it a try!

2.  Ulta Hair Event-Nioxin

Ulta’s gorgeous hair event wraps up today (Saturday) and this is the first thing I’m buying today!   I’ve been using this Nioxin treatment for about 4 months and have noticed a significant improvement in my hair!  It has been growing about an inch a month and I believe this product is to credit. I put it on my scalp every night before bed.  At half off, I’m stocking up!

4.  Bubble Clay Mask

This bubble clay mask gets great reviews so I decided to get it!  It just arrived – can’t wait to try it!

5. Homegoods ONLINE!

First TJmaxx went to online sales, then Marshalls and now Homegoods!  After digging around a bit, I learned it just debuted a few weeks ago.  I’m surprised to see the lack of artwork and furniture like TJmass online but perhaps it’s still in its infancy.

6. Gold Plated Labradorite Ring

I love statement rings and this one is in my cart!  Other Tjmaxx finds include these Quay glasses for under $20 that retail here for $65!   Also, love these Quay sunglasses under $20 and this Missoni Poncho!

7.  Japanese BBQ Sauce

I saw a friend of mine on Instagram talking about this Japanese BBQ sauce her husband loves.  Have you tried it?

8. Three Sisters: A Novel

My friend just posted she’s reading this latest book,  Three Sisters from the author of The Tatooist of  Auschwitz which was excellent.  I look forward to reading this one.

9. Chelsea Boot

This Marc Fisher suede Chelsea boot is on sale – it goes with so much!  I also love this bootie!

10. Woven Pumpkin

I saw this woven pumpkin in a lady’s cart at Target yesterday and it caught my eye!  It was so rich looking and perfect for fall and Thanksgiving decor.
