Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week- Vol. 124

1. Target Striped Sweater

Just got this Victor Glemaud x Target mock turtleneck -You won’t be missed in this one!  It’s super comfy (I usually don’t like turtles one me but this one doesn’t go high up the neck) and the colors are stunning!  Wearing my normal medium for reference (also comes in plus sizes).

2. Piranha Peeler

My friend was over as I was peeling potatoes with my piranha peeler and she was so amazed how good it was she bought one on her phone right there at my kitchen table!

3. Tory Burch Lug Sole Boot

I’m eyeing these  Tory Burch lug sole boots in black!  They are so gorgeous and get excellent reviews including for comfort!

4. Ulta -Real Techniques Sale

Real Techniques products are 40% this week.  The brushes are super affordable and 40% off  is even better.  This one is amazing!  I also love this one where you can adjust the size of the brush.  You can check out other great deals from the fall haul here.  The sale ends Saturday.

5. Bump Eraser Body Scrub

This First Aid Beauty body scrub is said to work awesome on bumpy “chicken skin” also know as Keratosis Pilaris

Just got these no bend rhinestone hair clips and love the them!  They’re blingy and ad a little “va room” to your look and better yet, they don’t leave a crease in your hair!

Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week- Vol. 115

1. Veradek Planters

In April, I bought 4 of these Veradek railing planters for our porch at the lake.  The quality is phenomenal!  One box was missing the hardware and the company has been extremely responsive in getting replacements out to us.  While our planters are mostly sold out, here is a look at other Veradek products – I highly recommend.

2. Aerie Denim Shorts

My friend alerted me after getting these fabulous denim shorts this week!  I just ordered mine and can’t wait to get them!  They have an elastic waist in the back and they’re on sale!  They looked fabulous on my friend!

3. Ruffled Sleeve Dress

Another friend was sporting this ruffled sleeve dress on FB the other day and I asked her to send me a link!  Imagine my surprise to learn it was under $22!

4. Bubble Sleeve Bikini Set

A lot of people are raving about this puffy sleeve bathing suit!  It sure looks adorable on them and another bargain for under $24!

5. Amazon Prime First Reads

This is awesome!  I (along with a ton of other readers) JUST learned that Amazon has had a program for Prime members called “First Reads.”  Every month on the 1st, Amazon releases 6 advanced copies of new books and members can choose one entirely FREE!  So many of us in my FB reading group were like WHAT, how did we not know this!  You can learn more from this very good blog post that explains it.

6. Double Buckle Slide Sandals

7. Zit Patches

Even at 53, I still get pimples on occasion.  These Goo Getter Zitsticka patches zap them fast!

8. Pool Float

I kept seeing this woman floating around on one of these in her IG stories and it looked so comfy!  I did a search and found this one and got it.  I also ordered this one and this one too!

9.  Amazon Sofa

If you’ve tried to order furniture lately, you know it’s a 3-6 month wait.  I discovered this very inexpensive sofa and bought it in grey yesterday for the lake and should have it by this weekend! It will do until my permanent sofa arrives in the fall.  It’s of course, not super quality but I did notice the magenta one in the reviews is really cute!  I thought I’d pass it along in case you’re furnishing a college student’s apartment etc.  Would be perfect! 10.  Tarte Foundation and Brush

This is such a good deal because you get the brush free!.  I haven’t tried this exact foundation, but this brush is hands down my favorite for applying makeup quickly!

This magnolia wreath is very rich looking – not your everyday wreath!  We have a lot of bookshelves at our new lake home and I’m getting this sculpture because it’s how Bill and I have felt the last couple of years building. lol!  Heading someone warm soon?  These Trina Turk suits are a deal: here, here and here and plus sizes here and here.  Bareminerals brushes are such nice quality.  They’re under $10 here, here and here.  How gorgeous is this vintage medallion rug?

5. Knee Pillow

I just started using this Knee pillow and it’s my favorite one so far.  The quality is amazing for the price.  These are really good for side sleepers!  Here is an article about the worst position to sleep in.

6. Zinc 

With Covid cases rising, my pharmacists friend recommend 50 mg of zinc (I bought this one because it can upset your stomach and reviewers said they had the best luck with it) and 2,000 IU of Vitamin D (I take this brand but  5,000 IU because I need it)

7. The Best Damn Sweet Potato Casserole

This recipe looks so good and I love the name of it. 🙂

8. Nordstrom Gift Guide

This is such an easy and convenient gift guide!  This is so good for healthy hair!  Pillow Talk is one of the most popular lip colors around.

9. Dyson Sale

I just picked up this Slim Dyson vacuum for under $200 this week!  I have a pretty large cache of Dysons and the slim has been my all time favorite.  I find it less clunky and easier to maneuver.  I can’t live without my cordless one either..it’s almost 40%off! This price is awesome!  This Hoover carpet cleaner is also on sale.  I couldn’t live without it either.

10. The Always Pan
