For the past few weeks, I decided to join Bill by jumping on a low carb diet! I feel like my clothes are fitting better but the scale has only slightly budged and I’m seriously following it! I don’t find it all that challenging though because I was already basically living a fairly low carb diet… but I’ve gone cold turkey on the carbs now. One thing I found I really enjoy is these SERIOUSLY delicious peanut butter cups with 1 net carb, no sugar added and only 100 calories! Bill tried them too and was hooked and we’re both pretty picky! These taste like a real Reese’s. (I will say that ours were dry and they looked like they had melted at one point. I saw one reviewer complain about it too. I messaged amazon and they refunded me. They were still very good but they crumbled a bit. We are getting more and I’ll see if that is just how they are or if the package we got was not all that fresh.) They were still really good though!
Need a quick mid-day pick me up? Don’t drink coffee? These mints get great reviews for when you’re feeling sluggish! I need to try these when I need that boost of energy!
I have been hearing a lot about this novel but I have not read it yet. It gets fabulous reviews. Honestly, the summary doesn’t totally grab me but so many loved this book. Have you read it? We’ll see..
My 12 year old and I were looking for fun fidget toys one day and we ordered this. It is weirdly a lot of fun playing with these magnets. We ordered a second set so we can get even more creative!
These hair clips are the big thing in the blogging world! So many bloggers have jumped on the pearl clip bandwagon and for good reason! They are so pretty! You get 4 different styles – they’re all gorgeous! I also love this style here.
This next thing made my list last year of my favorite beauty items from Sephora in this post (And Oh, by the way, I have another Sephora favorites coming up this week because it’s time again for the Sephora Rouge/Vib sale! If you’re not a VIB, sign up here, it’s free and worth it!) Ok, so on to one of my favorite brushes – It’s called the finger. (insert laughing emoji face) It’s meant for concealer application but I also love it to blend my eyeshadow! It’s a great brush!
While speaking of brushes – in search of an AWESOME make up brush cleaner? It’s so important to keep your brushes sanitary. For the longest time I struggled to find a good cleaner. I would always use the MAC brand but it’s the consistency of water and I felt a lot of it was wasted cleaning just one brush…plus it was not cheap! I was elated when I discovered this make up brush shampoo! It’s has a great, thick consistency, does and fab job and BEST yet, it’s inexpensive! You can also find it here and here. As a side note, I love to use it with a brush cleaning glove.
And now on to toothbrushes. If you think all toothbrushes are created equal – well, think again! I’ve been using these brushes for several years and are the only brushes I buy now. I have no idea why, but my teeth feel sooo clean after using this toothbrush!
I discovered this wardrobe tape a couple years ago and it’s been a life saver! Throw away all your safety pins! This stuff comes in so handy when you want to close up a top that might be cut too deep. Works great! I just used it the other day when I wore this top in this Instagram post!
I found the coolest beach bag/everything bag while standing in line at Homegoods a few weeks ago. They had three of them on the shelf and I took it because I found it so unique and potentially handy! It’s made entirely of rubber and is huge! It doesn’t close up so it’s great for stuffing beach towels and everything else you need inside. Perfect for the beach, pool, boat etc. because it’s all rubber! I had to return to Homegoods the next day and for grins,I looked if they still had the other two and they were gone!
