Happy Wednesday Friends!  We’re coming off an October heatwave here and I’m SO ready for cool temperatures and cute sweaters and boots!

Today I’m talking about how I’m Wild For Animal Prints!!!

Animal prints are still going strong this season.  Last season, I wrote a post about pulling off animal prints.  You can check it out here.  My golden rule is too much of it – is never a good thing!  A little goes a loooong way!  Trust me!

Leopard has been going strong  for a while, but this season, you’re seeing a lot more snake print as well as zebra print!

I love printed tops and sweaters  but sometimes, all you need is a pop of animal print say on a scarf or hat, shoes or boots or even a belt.  That little pop can really elevate your look.

Hey friends!  It’s officially Fall but I’m still waiting for that crisp air to settle in!  So far, it’s been steamy here and wouldn’t you know it – our AC decided to take its last breath over the weekend!  I’ve said it so many times, but if you’re new here, Fall is my favorite season!

I love Fall and Winter clothing.  You name it: boots, chunky sweaters, coats, hats….I find it’s so much more fun dressing for cooler weather!

My fashion mantra has always been mix it up!  I think the smartest way to dress is to mix affordable finds with some pricey pieces or accessories.  That way  – you always keep everyone guessing.

I was shopping last week and found a ton of affordable Fall looks from Target, including this tiger print dress. (It’s also available in plus sizes here.)

A little tip is to always keep a mental catalog of what you have in your closet.  When I saw this print dress, I immediately thought of my Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots I got last year. I knew they would go so nicely with the colors in this dress!

By the way, I LOVE these boots.  They are an investment but well worth it!  Weitzman footwear is so well made and always extremely comfortable.  These exact boots are still available here for half off in gray.  (I like the gray even better than mine!).

Beside Target, I also love to find affordable pieces at place like Kohls, Old Navy, Walmart and even my local grocery store, Meijer has some cute things! I thinks it’s always fun when someone compliments something I’m wearing from these places and to see their reaction when I tell them where it’s from. lol!  Where is your favorite place to find bargains?
