Heard good things about this concealer so I want to try it out

Powder bronzer can look muddy on me.  This one gets great reviews

Have always wanted a lash curler I can use once my false eyelashes are applied – this is it

5. Target Storage Baskets

This Target White Bin is perfect for under the bed or for closet shelves.  I bought them for boys’ shelves to house their sweatpants and swim trunks – Much better than just loose on the shelf.  I’m buying more for my handbags.  They also have these smaller ones.

6. Ecotools Blender Sponge

I like the original beauty blenders but I LOVE this one way more!  This sponge has more substance to it and I love the flat edge.  Best of all, you can’t beat the price!

7. Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask

Do it at home beauty treatments are a must at these times.  I’ve heard good things about this mask.

8. Peepers Readers

I just got these Peepers Readers.  They are the nicest quality readers and came with a nice case.

9. New Favorite Statement Rings

I love a pretty and chunky statement ring. One I’m loving right now is this Farrah ring by Gorjana.

If you’ve had your eye on something for a while, don’t be surprised if you find it for a great deal!  Retailers have been scrambling to stay afloat during the quarantine and as a result, are offering some really terrific sales.  Nordstrom has been fabulous – Every few days they’re offering different deals.  Almost everything I found below is 40% off – and some things like Michele watches (that rarely got on sale) are 25% off! I bought mine at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale several years ago and absolutely love it!

Everything below is on sale until Thursday at 9am – Then by noon Thursday, they’ll have another great offer!  Nordstrom’s shipping has been fast and efficient -I’ve been super impressed.

1  Studio Mcgee For Target

Shea Mcgee of the blog Studio Mcgee is one of my favorite interior design bloggers/influencers.  If I could have her come do the interior of our lake house project, my life would be complete. 😉 This week she launched her exclusive line with Target! Pictured above, I bought these wood vases.  They’re beautiful on a bookcase shelf empty or filled with some greenery – I am loving these succulent stems.  I also got this textured ceramic bowl. – It displays beautifully on a shelf or console table.  And I bought this natural wooden bench for our front porch at the lake.  It’s the perfect size for our space (narrow) and will be great for putting on or taking off shoes.  A lot sold out fast.  Shea said on Instagram they’re doing their best to restock the sold out items so check back if what tickles your fancy is sold out at the moment.

2  Puzzle Sorting Trays

I know everyone is doing puzzles these days.   These puzzle sorting trays come in handy if you’re doing a huge puzzle.

3  Jenny Bird and Gorjana Jewelry Sale

I adore Jenny Bird’s jewelry designs! I found a big part of her current collection up to 60% off here.  I’m getting these earrings (notice the unique design with the cuff),  these drop earrings are also 60 percent off.  I bought these hoops in gold!  Don’t miss Gorjana sale pieces here as well!

4  GUM Soft-Picks

After getting a crown replaced recently, my hygienist recommended I use these flexible dental picks. Also here.  I use them in addition to my regular flossing (I swear by these twin line flossers) and really like how they clean near the gum line.

5  St. Tropex Bronzing Face Mist

Since many missed their sunny spring break trip, might as well at least look like you went somewhere tropical.  This bronzing face mist smells nice and you’ll wake up looking tan and well rested.

6  Old English Wood Repair

This Old English is great to cover up scratches on your floor or table!  Also comes in a formula for darker woods too!

7  Power Washer Surface Cleaner

If you do any power washing, this surface cleaner attachment is a MUST!  I bought it  at Walmart recently and we put it to use yesterday!  We were able to clean the front walkway in under 10 minutes!  Was telling a friend about it and she said to also get the this turbo tip nozzle.  She said it cut her job down by half!

8  Notre Dame Eagle Cam – Eaglets are born

I told you about the eagle cam in this post here.  3 eaglets have hatched!  They’re so tiny!  It’s fascinating to watch the family.  You can scroll the timeline if the live feed has little action while you’re watching.

9. Extra Long Flexible Pick Up Tool

I stumbled upon this tool while searching for something non related on Pinterest and it sparked my curiosity.  You can clean hair out of drains with it or get something hard to reach.  Pretty nifty!

10  Wine Glasses

Since we’re all drinking a little more wine these days, might as well use a pretty glass – love these!

3 Watch Repair Kit/Battery Changing Kit

So I cleaned out my closet last week and found a bunch or great watches I forgot I had.  Problem is, the batteries are dead.  I think the last time I had a battery changed it was about 20 bucks.  I searched for a DIY kit and bought this one.  My hope is it will pay for itself.

4. Ina Garten Quarantine Cosmos Recipe

Hmmm, did Ina break into my files and steal my cosmo recipe?  This is my recipe to a T!  This is a fun video!

I saw a beauty blogger raving about this highlighter so I just ordered it because it’s half off!

These sunglasses look like designer for $15 and the black keep selling out!  I bought mine and they said the shipping would be a couple of weeks…now they said they’re arriving Saturday so don’t let that scare you away!  These are worth the wait!

Those sunglasses would look amazing with this sexy one piece black suit on sale!

I just realized Friday Favorites is a year old this month!  Crazy how time flies. Please let me know if you enjoy the favorites posts in comments below!  Let’s get started:

1  Kopari Deodorant

Just started using this deodorant (also here) a week ago and so far, I absolutely love it!  It’s all natural and aluminum and baking soda free.  There are several options but I chose the charcoal one.  I usually avoid these style roll ons because I hated the sticky feeling.  This is not sticky at all and best of all, it passes the sniff test at the end of the day!

2  Jimmy Fallon – Featuring Hall and Oates

If you’re a Hall and Oates fan check this out.  I’m not sure what’s more entertaining, the music or Jimmy Fallon’s narration of their hits!  Love this!  I also love the videos from Daryl’s house like this one featuring Kenny Loggins.  I told Bill to go check it out and the first thing he said, “that’s not Kenny Loggins” – Yep…everyone is a little older for sure but amazingly the voices don’t change.

3  Crest 3D Whitening Mouthwash

Picked this whitening mouthwash up last week and I really like it!  Not surprised because I already use this toothpaste and these whitening strips (Costco and Sams sell them in bulk and sometimes put them on sale!)

4  Period Panties

An ad came up for a brand of these period panties and I was intrigued.  After a bit of research, reviewers like these over the more expensive ones.  I guess you don’t have to wear a traditional pad or tampon when you wear these panties.  Seems strange but a great idea if you are fearful you won’t be prepared on any given day.  These days, I never know when I’m going to get a visit from Hazel. 😉

5  When You See Me: A Novel

Heard good things about this novel.  Stinks that libraries are closed now, but you can order it if you’re looking for a good read.

6  Nordstrom Sale

Nordstrom has some great deals this weekend.  I love these sunglasses for under $12, these Madewell earrings, these heels in black are timeless.  Size up half.  I love mine!

7  Lakur Soft Touch Nail Scrub

You don’t know how long you’ll have to be doing your own manicures so time to buy supplies.  When I bought this nail scrub, I was skeptical.  Boy, I was wrong.  It does a great job removing overgrown cuticles.

8  Cuticle Pusher

This cuticle pusher is my favorite.  I recently told you about this cuticle trimmer.  It is THE BEST!  Lakur polish is all I use.  I love the color afternoon tea also available here.  (Londontown Lakur on sale this week at Ulta – 20 % off using code: 878371)

9 Hannah Rug

I’ve seen a few bloggers brag about this rug.  It’s on sale and gets really good reviews.  Very pretty!
