1 Tortoise Cat Eye Sunglasses

These sunglasses are only $12 and my new favorites. The color is called leopard, but they’re really a tortoise sunglass. They’re designer looking, sturdy and a bargain of a price.

I saw an influencer raving about this lip balm on her stories and just ordered it! I bought the berry color and she also said the pink is good. Having to wear a mask makes lipstick kind of a waste and lipstick is one of my beauty essentials. I plan to keep this in my purse to easily throw on for some color when I’m out and about. It’s a bit pricey but the reviews are awesome.

3. Shaggy Dot Pillows

Ordering these super cute pillows! They’re sold as a 2 pack! Cute Fall stuff also arriving. Check out these perforated Vince Camuto boots for under $50!

4. Puff Sleeve Crew Neck Top

Love this puff sleeve top in the tan color and it’s on sale for $35!

5. Pottery Barn Ivory Wool/Jute Rug

This one is from the “is it too good to be true” files. I JUST ordered this rug in ivory. The 8 x 10 rings up at under $200! The other colors ring up at over $600 on sale. I’m going to put this in my master bedroom. Layering rugs is big right now and this the perfect base for the layered look. Doesn’t ship until late November. Even with shipping, it’s a fabulous deal!

6. Hadley Bed In Zuma White

So many people are working on home improvement during the pandemic. If you’re looking to spiff up your bedroom, I have heard so many people rave about this King bed in Zuma White. It’s a great price point and I’ll likely be getting it for our lake house.

7. Extra Credit Cardigan

Business in the front, party in the back. I love this color block cardigan! This is the cutest T shirt that would go great with it!

8. Lemi Shine Dish Detergent Booster

This stuff gets great reviews. Worth a try if you’re having a hard time getting your glasses and dishes spotless.

9. Magic Monkey For Spills

So I was in the checkout line at the store the other day and someone in front of me dropped a bottle of hand soap and it went all over the floor. A worker sprinkled a bunch of this magic monkey on it and waited a few minutes. She got a broom and just swept up the mess! I watched it like it was magic! She swept the powder right into the dust pan and the spill was gone!

10. Mini Compressed Towels

These mini compressed towels get great reviews and look so covenient! I’d totally take these with me on trips. I never use the washrags in hotels so these would be a great substitute!

Friday Favorites – 10 Things I love On The Internet This Week- Vol. 76

1. Kut From The Kloth Donna Jean

Ok girlfriends, the Donna is one of the most comfortable pairs of jeans in my closet! They are not only flattering, they also have the perfect amount of stretch. I wear my normal size 6. (They also come in petite) I already have the darker navy and bought this pair during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. (You can shop all my favorites from the sale in this blog post here.)

2. Barefoot Dreams – Dreamy Prices

Don’t despair if Barefoot Dreams is sold out at Nordstrom. You can still find amazing deals (or better) on BD right here.

3. Seam Ripper

Ok, this may seem like a goofy favorite of mine! LOL! This seam ripper is the BEST tool for cleaning the roller bar of your vacuum. Having string or hair wrapped around the roller bar takes a toll on the motor. Keeping it clean with a seam ripper is good practice to maintain your vac. (This is my favorite vacuum )

4. Acrylic Tray

I just bought this acrylic tray at my Homegoods. I might get a couple more. It’s great for jewelry you wear everyday. I also like to put a folded paper towel on one end and lay my Olay facial cleansing brush on it after each use.

5 Raw Stone Turquoise Rings

How stunning are these handmade turquoise rings.

6. Egg Poacher Pan

I eat 2 eggs for breakfast every day! This pan makes the perfect poached egg.

7. Cookie Brownies

OMG, our friend came over yesterday and brought these cookie brownies for Bill’s birthday which is next week. They are amazing!

8. Towel Warmer

I can’t wait for fall and cooler weather. To me, a warm bath towel is so luxurious! This towel warmer looks awesome and I found it even cheaper here.

9. Make Up Sponge

I’m a make up sponge junkie! I’m ordering this sponge. I love the pointed end for applying concealer under the eye.

10. ASOS Premier Delivery

Was so excited to discover this ASOS Premier Delivery offer! Think of it as the Amazon Prime of ASOS. For a one time fee (now $9 from $19), your orders arrive in 2 days! I had it last year and it was an awesome service. I highly recommend it! ASOS also offers easy, free returns. I love this smock dress, and this striped T-shirt dress.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Easy Ways To Spruce Up Your Home

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Well, you don’t need me to tell you these are some crazy times we’re living in! We just found out this past week our school will delay a couple weeks and start the year off with e-learning. Not too thrilled about it but we have to make the best of it, right?

Last week on my Instagram stories I asked my followers a few questions related to life during this pandemic. One question was whether they’re buying more for their home now. The majority said yes. I can’t say I was terribly surprised based on what I learned earlier this summer that was really an eye opener when it comes to consumer spending.

A local greenhouse and nursery in my area was quite concerned about the shutdown during the spring, specifically May, which is their bread and butter month. In Michigan, the governor did not deem nurseries essential so they were on pins and needles praying they could open. Their season is short and the window for selling flowers here is small. Lo and behold they were finally able to open. They did so knowing it might not be their greatest season but they were grateful to be able to start selling nonetheless. Well, guess what? What they feared might put them out of business, turned into a blockbuster season for them! In July, they announced they were sold out. Never in their history did they ever sell out of all their inventory. They even had to reduce their hours. The take away was that people were not traveling, not going on vacation, but instead , sprucing up their outdoor living space like never before.

As fall nears, this is a perfect time to think about sprucing up your indoors. The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is in full swing and there are so many awesome deals to be had in the housewares department. Using things like pillows, pretty throws, and candles – you can quickly and easily spruce up your home. I like to look for items with different textures and prints.

Just ordered several pair of awesome jeans at half off (free returns if they don’t fit) I bought these, these and these.

3. Sister Dear – Novel

I always like to share recommended reads with you. Someone in my FB book club said this book was a 10/10 and others agreed. Also here.

4. Square Toe Heel

I just got these heels and adore the square toe! Really comfortable and not too high!

5. Slip Mask

This has to be the comfiest mask ever! Also love this mask.

6. Best Baked Potato

This recipe claims you’ll have the crispiest and fluffiest baked potatoes ever. They look delish!

7. Leather Sandals

I just got these sandals delivered earlier in the week and LOVE them! They fit TTS and only 20 bucks! They are really nice quality and so cute on!

8. Foldable Sunglass Holder

This organizer is awesome to store your sunglasses. Would be great for travel too!

9. Pure Grace Shower Gel On Sale

I have heard the best things about this shower gel! It’s 40% off with code 40OFF

10. Born This Way Foundation

I like to experiment with foundations, but I always come back to this one! It really is one of the best!

Your Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Guide and Shopping List:

I spent the past week scouring the sale’s preview pages and put together a comprehensive list of my favorite items on major sale this year!

I know how overwhelming it can be because there are so many awesome deals, so I broke it down into five easy shopping boards: Sweaters/tops, Footwear, Accessories, Beauty and Home

Below each category board, you will find a carousel of thumbnail photos of all the items contained in the board above it. Simply click one of those photos and it will take you to the item. You will not be able to shop the items until the sale goes live. (more on the dates in a moment) But, what you can do is put the item on your “wish list” located under the item description. Then, when the sale goes live, you can simply move it to your cart and check out. This makes it super convenient and easy! Keep in mind, things can sell out very quickly and I’ve been told because of the pandemic, inventory overall in the fashion industry is lower than normal. My Moto has always been, if you’re on the fence, buy it. Nordstrom offers easy and FREE returns if you get it and it doesn’t work out. Better to be safe than sorry.
