Now that the kids are out of school for summer break, many of us will be headed to the beach!
So here is my list of the
10 Best Items To Pack For A Beach Vacation:
1. Bogg Bag Beach Tote – I actually found this bag in the check out lane of Homegoods a few months ago but you can also find it here! I HIGHLY recommend it for the beach. It’s made of a rubber-like material so it’s perfect if it gets wet and sand just slides right off it! I love the wide mouth opening. So easy to stuff it with towels, sunscreen and all your beach essentials!
2. Coola Sunscreen Spray – Don’t forget the sunscreen! This Coola sunscreen spray has a fabulous scent, it’s organic and gets the job done!
3. Sand and Beach Coasters – Talk about a clever little invention! These plastic coasters are perfect to hold and steady your soda cans, beer, cocktails …you name it! It’s also great to hold your cell phone or other valuables.
4. Sunglasses – I never take my expensive sunnies to the beach. These sunglasses are only $16 and offer 100% UV protection. They are functional as well as stylish and perfect for a day in the sand and water.
5. Beach Cover-up – I love this long, white cover up! Cover ups are great when the sun goes down, for trips to grab something to eat etc. I also have and love this cover up and this one too (I always get a ton of compliments on it!)
6. Comfortable Bathing Suit – Comfy is the key when you’re at the beach. A blogger friend of mine said this two-piece has been a huge hit! You can also find some great deals on suits here.
7. Straw Visor – Don’t forget a hat! I love this straw visor with a big brim. I also travel with this packable roll up style visor and love it! I bought this large straw hat at the H&M in Milan and really like it too!
8. Sandals – I just ordered these beach slides. Not only are they comfortable, but perfect for the pool or beach!
9. Pack-it Cooler – Read this if you’re not familiar with Pack-it! I’ve been using these coolers for years! A reader messaged me on the best cooler for the beach and I told her this one! It folds flat and you store it in you freezer. When you’re ready to use it, just unfold it and pack it! The frozen cooler “thingys” are sewn into the bag so you don’t need to take additional cold packs! It stays cold all day!
10. Beach Blanket – This is the perfect beach blanket to lay your beach towels on! It has pockets around it that you fill with sand to keep it from blowing away! It’s lightweight and the sand just slides right off it when you’re done! Then it folds up nicely in a little pouch!
